The systems heat up is as normal as that of a PC while running on its normal situation. However, when I play games (like BioShock, Sims etc) Mac just heats up immensly and fans kick in. I have never seen/felt a computer get this hot before. Again, not normal at all. The 15' MacBook Pro has both integrated graphics and a dedicated graphics card.

It's your money, and your choice what to do with it. But if you want decent performance rather than lag and frequent crashes, an M1 Mac is the much better choice.
